Losses in a gold shop rarely come from what the software calculates. They usually sit where staff are allowed to type a number: the deduction on scrap gold, the difference on an exchange, the purity read from a tester, or the cash counted at the end of a shift.

Capped deductions with a required reason
On scrap gold purchases, the deduction is the easiest thing to abuse because it depends on the counter staff's judgement. In Sol26 Gold, deductions are capped: staff cannot go beyond the configured limit. Every deduction needs a reason.
The owner gets a deduction report per staff member, showing who deducts more than usual.
Exchange differences are locked
On an exchange ticket, the difference between the old and new item is calculated by the software and locked. Staff cannot edit it by hand.
Purity comes from the tester
Density scales and XRF analysers send their result over COM and the software writes it straight into buy, exchange and scrap tickets. Staff do not retype it, so they cannot change the purity.
Denomination drawer counts at shift close
At the end of a shift, staff count the drawer by denomination. The software compares the total with the cash that should be there, calculated from every book in the shop. The difference is recorded against the shift and the person who closed it.
Every ticket leads to the camera footage
When a customer disputes a transaction or something looks wrong internally, the hardest part is finding the right footage. In Sol26 Gold, transaction details and pawn tickets carry a timestamp set 45 seconds before saving, with a button to copy it and a button to open the matching playback.
The Monitoring tab shows live Imou cameras inside the software. Click a recent ticket to jump to the moment it was made. The owner does not have to scrub through a whole shift to find one transaction.
Three permission levels and a log nobody can edit
Owner, store manager and staff each see only their own work. Every action goes into the log, and the log cannot be edited. When something needs reviewing, the owner has one source of truth instead of each person's account.
